Matt Rife to Headline Great Outdoors Comedy Fest July 18
UPDATE: The highly anticipated Great Outdoors Comedy Festival in Edmonton has just announced that social media sensation and Netflix star Matt Rife will headline the event on July 18, 2026. This thrilling news adds to the excitement of the three-day festival taking place at Kinsmen Park from July 17-19, marking the festival’s sixth year in the city.
Known for his sharp observational humor and crowd work, Rife has rapidly risen to fame since professionally performing at just 15 years old. His recent Netflix special, Lucid: A Crowd Work Special, has further solidified his status as a leading figure in comedy. Rife’s journey includes notable appearances on MTV’s The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars, as well as roles in Brooklyn Nine-Nine and That ‘90s Show.
