Metamora Dominates Sterling 43-14 in Friday Football Showdown

UPDATE: Metamora decisively defeated Sterling 43-14 in a key high school football matchup on Friday night, leaving Sterling with a challenging road loss. The Warriors struggled, trailing 30-7 by halftime and managing only six first downs throughout the game.
Metamora showcased a powerful offense, amassing a total of 381 yards compared to Sterling’s mere 168 yards. Sterling’s quarterback, Brady Berlin, completed 11 of 16 passes for 115 yards, including a touchdown pass to Quincy Maas. In I8FA action, West Carroll opened the season with a commanding 42-0 victory over West Central, establishing a dominant presence with a 35-0 lead at halftime. Polo also secured a substantial win against Bushnell-Prairie City, scoring 55-0, with JT Stephenson throwing two touchdown passes and rushing for 152 yards.
