Nashville Takeover Set for Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent This Year
URGENT UPDATE: The highly anticipated Nashville Takeover is making its way to Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent later this year, bringing an electrifying Nashville-style music experience to Canada. Kicking off this spring and running through fall, this unique event will stop in 13 towns across the country, transforming local venues into vibrant stages.
From June 5-7, 2026, Windsor-Essex will host this immersive musical experience, followed by Chatham-Kent from September 25-27, 2026. Attendees can expect breweries, cafés, restaurants, and secret spaces to morph into intimate listening rooms and late-night after-parties featuring top performers and songwriters from both Canada and Nashville.
“This is not your ordinary music festival,” said founder Scotty James. “Live music is usually found at stadium shows and big festivals, often with long lines and steep ticket costs. We started The Nashville Takeover to give smaller communities something different: in-the-room moments with artists and songwriters from Canada and beyond.”
All performances will be surprise-only, without any lineup reveals or headliners, enhancing the excitement and intrigue for attendees. The Nashville Takeover will kick off its journey in Stratford on April 10, offering fans an unprecedented backstage concert experience unlike anything else in the national music scene.
Tickets are already on sale with full weekend passes starting at just $99. The full event schedule and specific venue details will be shared exclusively with ticket holders ahead of each event, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all music lovers.
James expressed enthusiasm about the event’s expansion: “What began in two towns last summer has grown into 13 this year. We’re excited to bring Canadian music fans a true backstage concert experience.”
This event is poised to create lasting memories and foster a deeper connection between artists and fans in communities across Canada. Don’t miss out on what promises to be an unforgettable musical journey!
