New ‘Harry Potter’ Experience Launches in Vancouver This Friday
URGENT UPDATE: The highly anticipated “Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience” is set to open in Vancouver on November 7, 2023. This immersive attraction, debuting in Canada for the first time, promises a spellbinding adventure through the enchanting world of Harry Potter, right in the heart of Stanley Park.
Media previews held last night showcased the transformation of the park, where the beloved Bright Nights light display has been replaced by this new attraction. Developers have turned train tracks into a magical walking trail, creating an entirely reimagined experience for fans. This event is presented by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, Fever, and Rifflandia Entertainment Company.
Visitors can expect a captivating stroll through the “Forbidden Forest,” featuring motion-activated spellcasting and breathtaking scenes from the films. The experience is designed to last approximately 60 to 90 minutes and is located at 690 Pipeline Road. The area has been dramatically altered, with numerous food and merchandise huts set up (note: cash is not accepted, so bring your card).
Tickets for the experience are available now, with prices starting at $43 for the least desirable time slots, while most range from $70 to $85. Deluxe bundles are also on offer for those looking for an enhanced experience. Children under three can enter for free. Secure your tickets today at hpforbiddenforestexperience.com/vancouver.
The attraction will be open until January 11, 2024, with time slots available from 4:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. However, attendees should be aware that some elements may be unsettling for young visitors. The official website advises those with arachnophobia to inform staff upon arrival for accommodations to avoid spider-themed elements.
Accessibility may be limited due to the bushland hiking trail and steep sections within the attraction, which is being marketed as “the most magical of walks.” This experience is set to draw in Harry Potter fans from all over, making it a must-see destination this fall and winter season.
Stay tuned for more updates as this enchanting attraction opens its doors to the public tomorrow!
