Paddle Boarder Rescued from Deschênes Rapids by Ottawa Fire Services

A paddle boarder was successfully rescued from the **Deschênes Rapids** on March 15, 2024, after encountering difficulties while out on the water. The paddle boarder, who was reportedly not wearing a **personal flotation device**, was located shortly after having fallen into the rapids. By **1:45 p.m.**, the individual was safely aboard the rescue boat and transported back to shore at **Britannia Beach**.
