Pedestrian, 68, Dies After Collision with Pickup in Winnipeg
UPDATE: A tragic motor vehicle collision has left a 68-year-old pedestrian dead in Winnipeg. The incident occurred at 12:43 p.m. on Saturday, near the intersection of Selkirk Avenue and Salter Street, prompting an urgent response from local authorities.
Witnesses report that a Dodge Ram 1500 struck the pedestrian, immediately leading officers to the scene. They administered first aid until Winnipeg Fire and Paramedics arrived. Despite their efforts, the pedestrian was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
