POET and Quantum Computing Launch 3.2Tbps Optical Engine Project
BREAKING: POET Technologies Inc. and Quantum Computing Inc. have just announced a strategic collaboration to develop cutting-edge optical engines capable of an unprecedented 3.2Tbps data transfer speeds. Our combined efforts will directly address the global demand for more compute power.” This collaboration aims to provide solutions that not only meet but exceed the current industry standards.
The POET Optical Interposer technology will enable the integration of high-performance TFLN modulators, leading to engines that promise to double the speeds of existing networking devices. This development comes as the global market for optical engines is projected to reach close to USD $12 billion by 2030, according to a recent report by LightCounting.
WHAT’S NEXT: Under the terms of the agreement, POET will fund the development of this revolutionary modulator, which is expected to be completed in the second half of 2026.
