BREAKING: Princeton’s Reese Reviglio and Illyana Jones have just secured a remarkable second place finish at the Lady Ryder Cup, held Saturday at Wyaton Hills Golf Course. This development highlights the skill and determination of the Tigresses amidst fierce competition.

Competing against six teams, the duo led Princeton to the second-highest spot, with their teammates Jadeyn Klingenberg and Taylor Compton finishing with a total score of 108, while Anika Hansen and Kinsley Lott added 113 to the team score. The competition was intense, with Erie-Prophetstown clinching the top spot at 177, followed closely by Sterling at 179. Notably, LaSalle-Peru tied with Dixon for third place at 186.

In other sporting news, the Bureau Valley cross country team faced off at the IVC Invitational in Chillicothe on Friday. Gemma Moore led the girls’ team with a commendable 16th place finish, clocking in at 21:58. Summer Hamilton and Ella Wilt followed, placing 24th and 25th respectively, with times of 24:20.22 and 24:12.2.

On the boys’ side, Maddox Moore represented Bureau Valley with a strong performance, finishing 21st in 18:04.75. Teammates Adrian Gallardo and Alex Attig also contributed with times of 18:07.06 and 18:41, landing them in 23rd and 28th places respectively.
