Raue Center Launches Festive Season with A Cripple Creek Christmas

URGENT UPDATE: The holiday season officially kicks off at the Raue Center For The Arts in Crystal Lake, IL with the highly anticipated production of A Cripple Creek Christmas Carol, debuting on November 21, 2023. This bold retelling of Dickens’ classic, set against the backdrop of the Colorado gold rush, promises to deliver a festive experience filled with fun, family, and community spirit.

Mark your calendars! The Christmas Carol Countdown starts on October 20, featuring daily sneak peeks, photos, and videos on Raue Center’s social media platforms leading up to the opening night.

Exclusive to RaueNOW members, the Cocoa & Cookies event takes place on October 27. This evening will include complimentary cocoa, light snacks, and a special onstage preview of the production. Not a member? Now is the perfect time to join RaueNOW for discounts and insider perks year-round.

Join the community for Christmas Carol Singo on November 1. Doors open at 5 p.m. with the game starting at 6 p.m.. Enjoy holiday-themed Singo with pizza, prizes, and live performances from the cast.

Get involved with the Giving Tree initiative on October 27 and November 1. Grab an ornament to support the production by donating toward essential items like costumes and set designs.

Don’t miss Community Pizza Night at Georgio’s on November 17 or 18. Dine out to support the show while enjoying festive cheer from the cast.

Dress in your best (or worst!) holiday attire for Ugly Sweater Night on November 22 at 7 p.m.. Participate in themed festivities with prizes and vouchers.

The holiday spirit continues with Caroling Under the Marquee on December 4 at 6 p.m.. Join cast members for carols outside the Raue Center during Downtown Crystal Lake’s Luminary Nights.

Capture memories with Photos with the Cast on December 6, where you can take home a keepsake photo with characters from the show.

Additionally, support the community through the KIN Diaper Drive, running from November through December. Bring diapers and essentials to performances to aid Kids in Need.

With a run time from November 21 to December 7, A Cripple Creek Christmas Carol features original songs, comedy, and a timeless message of generosity.
