Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for Cariboo and Shuswap Regions

URGENT UPDATE: A severe thunderstorm watch has just been issued for the Cariboo, Shuswap, and Revelstoke areas, as Environment Canada warns of potential hazardous weather conditions. The watch was announced on August 16, 2023, shortly after 9 a.m., and spans from Quesnel in the north, south to Barriere, and extends east to Revelstoke.
