Shots Fired on Innes Avenue: Police Investigate Urgent Incident
URGENT UPDATE: Shots were fired this morning in the Innes Avenue area of Cranbrook, prompting an immediate response from local law enforcement. At approximately 9 a.m. on December 21, Cranbrook RCMP received multiple reports of gunfire, leading to a swift deployment of frontline officers, the Kimberley RCMP, and additional support services.
Fortunately, authorities confirmed that no one was injured in this alarming incident. The RCMP has described it as an isolated, targeted event. Witnesses reported seeing a silver four-door sedan with dark tinted rear windows and a loud exhaust in the vicinity at the time of the shooting.
Cranbrook RCMP is actively seeking the public’s help to gather crucial information. They request that anyone with video surveillance from the area around the time of the shooting come forward. This information could be vital in identifying the suspect and the vehicle involved.
