UPDATE: South Bruce OPP has launched an urgent investigation into a fraudulent tractor sale that occurred along Conc. 2 in South Bruce. The incident, reported on September 15, involves the alleged use of a bad cheque in the purchase of a farm tractor.
Authorities confirm that a green 2017 Fendt 714 Vario, equipped with a 5×85 front-end loader, was taken away on a flatbed trailer pulled by a white transport truck. The seller discovered the cheque was fraudulent shortly after the transaction was completed, prompting the police to take immediate action.

Tips can be reported by calling 1-888-310-1122, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or via their secure web-tip platform at www.cstip.ca.
This situation underscores the importance of vigilance in financial transactions, especially in high-value sales. As the investigation develops, local residents and potential buyers are urged to remain alert and report any suspicious activity related to this case.
