Dearica Hamby shined with 27 points and 11 rebounds, while Rickea Jackson contributed 23 points, showcasing their determination to secure a crucial victory for playoff contention.
Just 2:47 remaining in the game, Seattle led 85-80, but the Sparks unleashed an explosive 11-0 run to clinch the win, pulling within 1.5 games of both the Storm and Indiana for the final playoff spots. Seattle faltered down the stretch, missing their last five shots, as the Sparks seized the moment with relentless energy.
The Sparks dominated the boards, out-rebounding the Storm 37-23, and capitalized on their size advantage with a staggering 60-30 lead in points in the paint. Kelsey Plum added 14 points, while Rae Burrell contributed 11 points to the victory.

Seattle established an early lead, driven by a ten-point run, and controlled the game for much of the first half. However, the Sparks rallied, closing the gap with a buzzer-beater three-pointer from Jackson, cutting the Storm’s lead to 73-68 heading into the final quarter.
Looking ahead, the Sparks will face second-place Atlanta on Wednesday and Friday, while the Storm will host New York on Friday. This victory is a pivotal moment for Los Angeles as they push towards the playoffs, with fans eager to see if this momentum can be sustained in the coming games.
