Sudbury Man Arrested for 15 Commercial Break-Ins, Faces Charges

BREAKING: A 58-year-old man has been arrested and charged by Greater Sudbury Police in connection with a shocking spree of 15 commercial break-ins across Sudbury, Ontario. The crimes occurred between July 23 and August 27, with authorities reporting that the suspect used objects to smash windows and gain access to cash registers, stealing money from businesses.

On August 28, detectives from the Break Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit wrapped up their investigation. They identified the suspect and conducted a traffic stop on Notre Dame Avenue, where they apprehended the driver, who was subsequently charged with multiple offenses.

The man now faces a staggering 11 counts of Break and Enter and Commit Indictable Offence, four counts of Break and Enter with Intent, and two counts of driving while under suspension. He was held overnight and made his first appearance in bail court on August 29.

Authorities emphasize the urgency of these charges, as the series of break-ins has left local business owners and the community shaken. The police have urged residents to report any suspicious activity as investigations continue.
