Toronto Faces Rainy Fall as Summer Ends with Stormy Weather
UPDATE: Toronto is set to experience an abrupt transition from summer to fall as thunderstorms and rain are forecasted to arrive just after the season officially ends. Following a warm Saturday, Toronto’s last day of summer on September 24, 2023, will feature sunny skies during the day, but residents should prepare for significant weather changes by evening.
Temperatures will peak at a comfortable 24°C on Sunday, but the city will soon be engulfed by rain and thunderstorms, expected to begin late in the day and continuing into Monday morning, the official start of autumn. Tonight’s low will drop to a mild 19°C, setting the stage for a wet start to the fall season.
Rainy conditions will dominate Monday morning, with temperatures remaining at a high of 24°C and a low of 17°C. Although the city will face persistent rain through Tuesday, above-normal temperatures are predicted to linger for the first few days of fall, providing a brief respite from the colder weather typical of this season.
Residents are urged to stay updated with the latest forecasts to navigate the shifting weather patterns. For those planning outdoor activities, it’s crucial to be prepared for unexpected rain.
As the city transitions into fall, the stormy weather may have immediate impacts on local events and transportation. Stay tuned for further updates as the forecast develops.
