Urgent: 29 Highway Closures in Niagara Scheduled for Oct. 9

UPDATE: A staggering 29 highway closures are set to disrupt traffic in Niagara on October 9, 2025. Motorists are urged to plan ahead as extensive roadwork will impact key routes throughout the region, causing potential delays and detours.

Other critical closures include:
Highway 406 southbound between Highway 20 / Canboro Road and Holland Road, with one right lane closed from October 6 at 7 p.m. until October 10 at 8 a.m..
– The Fort Erie bound off-ramp at Bertie Street / Thompson Rd will close all lanes from October 7 at 6 p.m. until October 10 at 6 a.m..
