Urgent Arrest Made in Stolen Chevrolet Silverado Case in Kitchener
UPDATE: A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the theft of a Chevrolet Silverado in Kitchener, following a swift investigation by the Waterloo Regional Police Service. Officers responded to a break-and-enter incident reported around 8 a.m. on October 23, 2023, leading to the discovery of the stolen vehicle just hours later.
Police were alerted to the theft occurring in the vicinity of King Street East and Gateway Park Drive. By 2 p.m. the same day, authorities located the stolen Silverado in the area of Charles Street West and Ontario Street South. The rapid response underscores the department’s commitment to tackling vehicle theft and ensuring community safety.
During the arrest, officers also seized suspicious items including suspected crystal methamphetamine, vehicle keys, and break-in tools.
