Urgent Events This Weekend in Brandon: Join the Fun Now!
UPDATE: Exciting events are happening RIGHT NOW in Brandon! This weekend, the community is buzzing with activities, from car shows to charity walks, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
First up, the last Cruise Night of the season is taking place today, September 4, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Rosser Avenue. Car enthusiasts are invited to showcase their vehicles at the intersection of Rosser Avenue and 13th Street. All participants and spectators can enjoy this free event presented by the Brandon & Area Car Enthusiasts (BACE), along with local sponsors.
Don’t miss the 22nd annual Wag-a-Tail Walk-a-Thon at Kin Park this Sunday, September 6, from 10 a.m. to noon. Bring your furry friends or walk in memory of beloved pets to support the Brandon Humane Society. Enjoy a free barbecue courtesy of the Brandon Wheat Kings while helping raise funds for animal welfare.
Following that, join the evening of fun with Wildflower Whiskey at The Backyard on Aberdeen from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.. This 18+ event features live music, delicious smoky-flavored hors d’oeuvres, and signature drinks for just $25 in advance and $30 at the door. On Saturday, September 5, the Brandon Farmers’ Market will be open at The Town Centre until 4 p.m., showcasing a variety of local produce, crafts, and baked goods. The Riverbank Discovery Centre Farmers’ Market will also be operating from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a perfect weekend outing for families.
Additionally, the Fourth Annual Harvest Festival at Oak Lake Agricultural Grounds is set for September 5 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.. Enjoy a fantastic day of entertainment, including a Canine Circus, monster truck rides, and live music from Pop Vegas. Admission is just $10 for adults, while kids get in free!
As the weekend wraps up, don’t miss out on the Cal Jackson Memorial Car Show and Pie Auction at Dinsdale Park this Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.. Join community members as they commemorate a beloved local figure and enjoy a barbecue along with homemade pies for auction.
