Urgent: Four Shootings Rock Surrey in Less Than 24 Hours

As the situation unfolded, the bomb squad was deployed to the community policing station due to a suspicious package found inside, prompting a lockdown of the area for several hours while investigations took place.

“We will be reviewing the CCTV footage to determine the specifics of the suspect’s actions—whether he shot at people, police officers, or indiscriminately fired in the air,” stated Staff Sgt. Lindsay Houghton of the Surrey Police Service. “The individual is now in custody, and potential charges may include firearms-related offenses, various assault charges, or even attempted homicide.”
