Urgent Police Search for Suspects in Springwater Break-Ins

URGENT UPDATE: Provincial police are actively seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects linked to a series of alarming break-ins in the Midhurst area of Springwater. The incidents, which have raised significant concern among residents, occurred on September 29, October 4, and October 10, with police confirming that they believe the cases are connected.
On September 29, at approximately 7 p.m., suspects reportedly broke into a home on Saint Vincent Street. Just four days later, around 12 p.m. on October 4, another break-in was reported on Idlewood Drive. The latest incident occurred on October 10, at around 11:30 a.m., when suspects again targeted a residence, this time on Glenhuron Drive.
Authorities have released surveillance footage showing the suspects arriving in a light-coloured Nissan sedan. One suspect is described as a woman wearing a long, light-coloured coat and a hat. She was accompanied by two men with dark hair, both dressed in dark sweaters and track pants.
The Huronia West OPP is urging residents to take immediate precautions to secure their homes. In an official statement, police emphasized, “Please ensure all doors and windows are locked before leaving and consider using security systems or cameras where possible. These simple measures can significantly reduce the risk of break-and-enter incidents.”
This string of break-ins has left the community on edge, highlighting the need for vigilance and security awareness among homeowners. Anyone with information or video footage related to these incidents is urged to contact the Huronia West OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
As this situation develops, residents are reminded to stay alert and report any suspicious activity to the authorities. The safety and security of the community depend on collective action and timely reporting.
