Urgent Search for Suspect After Woman Stabbed on TTC Streetcar
UPDATE: Toronto police are urgently searching for a male suspect following a brutal stabbing incident on a TTC streetcar in East Chinatown. The attack occurred just after 1:30 p.m. on September 25, 2023, near the intersection of Broadview Avenue and Gerrard Street East.
The victim, a woman, managed to leave the scene after being stabbed but was later found in a distressed state in the vicinity of Queen Street East and Munro Street. She was quickly transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, prompting an immediate police response.
Authorities describe the suspect as a white male, approximately 40 years old, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and a black hat. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward, highlighting the urgency of locating the suspect.
