When the residents refused, the duo attempted to force their way inside, resulting in damage to a door and a window on the porch. After failing to gain entry, they fled the scene in a white sedan.

Authorities have identified one of the suspects as Christian Meeches, a 27-year-old from Long Plain First Nation. A warrant for his arrest has been issued, and the RCMP is urging anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to come forward. The second suspect remains unidentified but was noted to be wearing a white hoodie during the attempted break-in.
