Urgent Search: Shooting Suspect Flees in Silver SUV from Caledon

UPDATE: A suspect is currently on the run following an alleged shooting in Caledon early this morning. Just after 3 a.m. on October 22, 2023, officers from Caledon OPP responded to reports of gunfire at a residence on Old School Road. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, but the hunt for the suspect is intensifying.

Authorities confirm that the suspect fled the scene in a silver BMW SUV, heading eastbound on Old School Road. Residents are being urged to stay alert and report any suspicious activity, as police maintain a visible presence in the area.

Police believe the incident is targeted and may be linked to an ongoing shooting investigation from October 17. Despite this connection, officials assert that there is currently no threat to public safety.

In a statement, a police spokesperson said,
