URGENT UPDATE: The Shelburne RCMP Detachment is actively searching for 29-year-old Liam Colin Cockerill, also known as “Lucky,” who is wanted on a provincewide arrest warrant. Law enforcement officials confirmed that Cockerill faces serious charges, including resisting a peace officer and five counts of breach of probation.

Authorities believe he is currently in the Shelburne County area, prompting an immediate call for public assistance. “Police have made several attempts to locate Cockerill and are requesting assistance from the public,” the Nova Scotia RCMP stated in a news release.

Cockerill is described as five feet nine inches tall, weighing approximately 137 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. The urgency of the situation is heightened as police work to prevent any potential risks to the community.
