Urgent Update: Suspect Arrested After Weapons Threat in Halifax
BREAKING: A suspect is in custody following a weapons-related incident in Halifax. Halifax Regional Police (HRP) confirmed the arrest occurred shortly after 10:40 AM today, with the initial complaint reported at approximately 10:00 AM on October 27, 2023.
The situation unfolded on Thomas Raddall Drive after officers received alarming reports of a man threatening another individual with a weapon late Thursday night. As a precaution, authorities enacted a hold-and-secure at both Halifax West High School and the Canada Games Centre. Fortunately, this security measure was lifted shortly after the suspect’s apprehension.
