Veteran QBs Shine in Manteno, Momence Week 0 Scrimmage Showdown

UPDATE: In an electrifying Week 0 scrimmage on July 28, 2023, the Manteno Panthers hosted the Momence Redskins, showcasing their seasoned quarterbacks as they gear up for the upcoming season. Both teams ran 24 plays each, exchanging positions after every 12 plays, delivering a thrilling preview of what’s to come in Week 1.

Manteno, coming off a solid 7-3 season and its first playoff berth since 2019, is looking to build on last year’s momentum under the leadership of quarterback Connor Harrod. “We’ve been working all summer on getting chemistry,” Harrod stated. He showcased his skills during the scrimmage, connecting with six different receivers and making impressive plays with his legs.
