UPDATE: Just announced, the second annual “A Night In White Garden Party” has raised an impressive $43,000 for the YMCA of Central East Ontario’s Strong Kids Campaign. The event took place on October 3, 2023, at Connon Nurseries, marking a remarkable 54% increase in funds compared to last year’s inaugural gathering.
The stunning venue was filled with white decorations and attire, creating a magical atmosphere for attendees. This year’s success highlights the community’s dedication to supporting local youth programs that the Strong Kids Campaign champions.
In an official statement, organizers expressed their gratitude, saying, “Congratulations to our amazing committee, and a heartfelt thank you to all our sponsors, food and beverage vendors, and especially to the guests who made it an unforgettable evening.”
The funds raised will directly impact children in the region, allowing them to participate in educational and recreational programs that promote healthy living and social development. As the YMCA continues to expand its reach, events like this play a critical role in sustaining these vital programs.
