Ottawa Police Arrest 63-Year-Old Man for Stabbing Incident

A 63-year-old man is in police custody following a stabbing incident that occurred on Wednesday evening in the Elmvale Acres neighbourhood of Ottawa. The event took place around 7:08 p.m. in the 1900 block of St. Laurent Boulevard, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a victim suffering from injuries. The suspect was apprehended without incident at the scene and has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous weapon. Fortunately, the victim was transported to a hospital and is reported to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
