Police Pursue Two Suspects After Stabbing in North York
Toronto Police are actively searching for two male suspects following a stabbing incident that occurred early on August 24, 2025, in North York. Authorities responded to reports of a fight involving three men in the vicinity of **Arrow Rd.** and **Pemican Crt.**, located near **Finch Ave. W.** and **Hwy. 400**, shortly after **3 a.m.**.
Upon arrival, officers found a man in his 40s suffering from a serious stab wound. He was promptly transported to a hospital for treatment. The police have described the suspects as two men in their 30s. One is identified as a brown male, approximately **5 feet 8 inches** tall, wearing a black hoodie. The second suspect is a Black male, standing around **6 feet** tall and clad in all-black attire.
The police have urged anyone with information regarding this incident to contact them at **416-808-4200**. They are keen to gather details that could assist in apprehending the suspects involved.
In a separate incident, also on August 24, a man in his 30s was hospitalized after a shooting near the **Toronto Zoo**. This event unfolded just before **4 a.m.** in the **Old Finch Ave.** and **Harvest Moon Dr.** area of **Scarborough**. The victim sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for care. Investigations into this shooting are ongoing, and police are seeking information from the public to aid their inquiry.
As authorities continue to investigate these violent incidents, community safety remains a top priority. In addition to the ongoing investigations, officers have reported multiple injuries and arrests in other unrelated shooting incidents in surrounding areas, highlighting a broader concern over public safety.
