A 27-year-old woman in Texas has been charged with murder after allegedly leaving her 15-month-old baby in a car on a sweltering day. Vanessa Esquivel is accused of intentionally abandoning her child in a vehicle without air conditioning while she went to work. According to the Frisco Police Department, detectives believe Esquivel left her child unattended for over two hours. In a news release, the police stated, “Detectives believed probable cause existed that Esquivel had committed murder.” This conclusion was drawn based on the evidence collected during the investigation.
